Peter Ewart

Peter has been advising private clients for over 30 years and runs a Senior Partner Practice, part of St. James's Place. He is a Chartered Financial Planner and member of the Personal Finance Society and Chartered Insurance Institute. He is also an independently accredited member of the Society of Later Life Advisers.

About

Peter specialises in the structuring and managing of investable assets for high net worth individuals, attorneys and trustees and is experienced in a broad range of advice that includes tax mitigation, retirement provision, estate and inheritance tax planning and how best to pay for the cost of ‘long term care’.

Intergenerational planning is an increasingly important aspect of our advice. Not only is the country beginning a period of accelerated ageing, but it is also now broadly accepted that there is a growing generational wealth gap. At Ewart & Bridgeman Advisers, we believe that many of our clients require advice on this topic, to decide on how best to utilise their wealth for the benefit of family members; both younger and older.

Away from work Peter relishes time at his family home in Suffolk where he enjoys various outdoor pursuits, keeping fit and watching rugby (playing days are over!). He is married with two sons. Peter is keen to support his local community, with previous positions as chairman of the Business Association and Town Councillor.

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.
